new year, new diet! Not really a new diet... just another try to get myself healthy. lets see if I can stick to it! I'm trying a few things this time-- Don't want to cut out anything completely, except maybe non-diet sodas. I know diet sodas aren't that much better, but one fight at a time, and right now my fight is against calories! going to focus on portion control, and controlling the foods I eat better (i.e. eating at home more). More water, less eating when i'm bored. I found some cool advice that recommended creating a binder of family approved recipes :p That way when I'm trying to create a menu for next week, I can flip through the binder and choose foods I know my husband and I already like, and I don't have to think about it as much : )
As much as I know exercise is a valuable part of any weight loss initiative, I just honestly don't have the desire to put that much time into it. Once I lose a few pounds here and there I'm banking on having some more energy to do more calorie burning activities :p
