Quickly stopping by to say hello. I have a telephone conference to begin in just a few minutes so not much time to chat this morning.

I did it. I weighed. I am not posting it here yet but I will tell you that I weighed in at 198.2. Whoa. However, it is still under 200 so that is positive. I have 13 lbs to lose to put me back in my comfortable range. Not horrid. I'm doing okay with it.

Did pretty well yesterday. I used more calories than I consumed so that is good. We had nuts in the house which I ate which upped the calories. But I weighed them and counted them and that is very POSITIVE. I think I may have turned a corner. I sure hope so.

No time for a list right now of grateful items. If I get time I'll pop back in later and add to this. Right now I must dash!! Have a good day friends!!

Staying under 200 is a HUGE feat. Great job weighing and counting the nuts! I need to actually start weighing more food again, thanks for reminding me.

it's a number baby...it doesn't define you. It's a marker so when you look back in a few short weeks you will say wow I've come a long way from that bend in the road. Good for you to find out exactly where you are...you'll be even lower tomorrow!

Good for you Carol. You have, as they say, "faced the music". Now you know where you are and what you will need to do. That is a tremendous start. AND, you counted the nuts. Another tremendous thing. You are easing back into what you know you have to do. Very good start Carol, very good start! A little bit everyday, and pretty soon you will get the "umph" back and it will begin. I am asking you to join me in making a new beginning after the 1st of Jan. Measuring, documenting, exercising, etc. Whatever it takes to get "back into gear". Are you with me?

@ Sharon ... thank you ... you sound like my husband!! LOL!!! Yes Barb, I am with you. I am starting NOW though. No sense in eating mindlessly between now and January 1st!! I will enjoy a festive Christmas dinner though and not worry about counting and measuring it. It could be worse. And it doesn't define me. I am however looking forward to having ALL of my pants fit again!! Thank goodness it is winter and I dress layered anyway!! LOL!!

Hi Carol, you sound more like you, and I'm glad. Hope your day wasn't too stressful and that you managed to stay with your plan. 13 lb isn't so bad considering what you've lost before. You can and will do it, I have no doubt. Have a super day - HUGS
