KatieTyrell's Journal, 20 November 2013

What is wrong with me? Seriously, people. I continue to do moderately well during the day and then binge at night. I have a theory that my problem stems from eating lunch at 11:30 and then not eating dinner until around 7:30-8:00 at night (get home from work around 6, get busy cleaning house some, become Starvin Marvin at 7). I should eat a snack between then, but (ironically) don't want to add those extra calories in my day. Ha! I must think of some low cal, low carb snack to eat between lunch and dinner and that isn't water. :)

Find some lower calorie snacks. Better to use a few calories then binge at night and ruin your day. Bring some yogurt and fruit, veggies and hummus, cheese stick and fruit, etc.

Veggies and hummus gets my vote, possibly with some baked whole grain crackers-it really does help curb appetite, there's all kinds of good stuff in there that your body wants, and it keeps you going all afternoon. You DEFINITELY seem like you ought to have a snack or two in there between lunch and dinner.

Thanks for the help! You're right, I didn't think about veggies, hummus and yogurt. Need to start packing that in my bag!
