I stopped recording my food and paying attention to my diet when the Covid 19 shut everything down. I hid in my house for 6 months and ate whatever I wanted. Now, I am chubby. Time to regroup. I'll now count my calories carefully. I'll eat grilled meat and salads. Filling things that are low calorie such as fruit mixed with yogurt. I'll make some oatmeal in the crockpot and freeze servings. I'll make some chai tea with splenda. I'll drink hot lemonade - also with splenda. Those banana oatmeal pancakes without nuts are quite useful. Cut way back on the red wine; have it only every other day. Eat more canned tuna. Eat more eggs and omelets. Put chiliquilla sauce in them. Spend less time cooking. Keep easy things on hand. Eat only half a sandwich at a time. Use salsa and pickles as sides rather than chips. Ham and Swiss on rye is a good meal. Make homemade ranch dressing to keep on hand, and eat it with carrots for a snack.
