Oops! I went over. I was doing fine until my sweet, darling wife brought me a pack of four yakitori-style chicken wings from the store. I was going to put them in the refrigerator and have them for lunch tomorrow, I really was, but it didn't work out that way and I ended up eating all four.
My wife's great eating problem is that she seldom has an appetite and often complains that she has to force herself to eat. She doesn't understand obesity. We've been preparing meals separately for years, but I swear every time I make an effort to lose weight, she seems to do all she can to break my resolve. Knowing sabotage or loving concern? I'll let you decide.
Anyway, it wasn't a horrible slip - 150 extra calories. There have been many times when I've been able to rationalize going over by 100 calories as license to stuff an extra 1000 calories down my throat. I had those thoughts tonight, but I didn't act on them.
iPad Air arriving tomorrow morning, so I'm going to bed happy.

Hey, the positive is that you didn't keep on, figuring you blew it. That happens so often. Count that as a pat on the back. My husband did that too. I had to cook separate for my diet and he would make these fabulous meals and offer and I had to refuse and then he would put leftovers in the fridge and would not eat them and I hate wasting food. I cannot throw out edible food, so I pushed them to back of fridge till they were awful and then I could throw them out.
