I've been craving chocolate... a lot. I ate so many m&m's today. Last week, I ate a ton of mini chocolate chip cookies. I think it best to resume taking magnesium tea again. I might be low in Mg again, which causes me to crave chocolate. I'm thinking if starting tomorrow. 🍵

Dark chocolate is pretty decent in antioxidants. Also, thehere are sugar free chocolate options that are not too bad and can satisfy the craving. Perhaps even a chocolate protein shake...160 kcal, 1g sugar, 30g protein for the chocolate Premier Protein High Protein Shake. Just some ideas. Never completely deny yourself, because that only leads to mistakes. ;)

My nutritionist says that if you crave chocolate, eat protein. Sounds weird but it works for me! If it is really bad, I'll eat a protien bar that has some chocolate. I make my own bars to control sugar.

for whatever reason, I can control my chocolate cravings with high cacoa, less sweet chocolate which is currently in the form of Ghirardelli chocolate chips. I count out eight and eat them with 10 raw almonds. daily. some days I graze on them, some days there is less control, but I'm not denied and I'm in control with it. I don't understand why eating them with almonds helps with that control, but it does. I never go less than 60% cacoa and if I can go higher, I totally do. I do keep it up high so that there's effort in portioning out and I can't mindlessly consume. kinda like those coconut flakes. take out the bag, measure it out, close the bag and put it away and then I can eat my snack.

Diana, I buy protein bars but would love to save the $$ and make my own. They’re not cheap! Could you share your recipe?
