About a month ago i weighed in at 184...for about 5 hours. Then my weight moved back to 186.6-187.4 and there I stay. have been there for months. I keep my carb count at 18-20 finding anything higher moves my body mass up...so am stuck. My Dr. told me that if I have sleep apenia or food allergies I will NOT loose the wt. I don't have the apenia but am allergic to egg's, whey and soy...many of the staples of my day.
Will stay away from them and will see if the wt moves. Have been the same wt since Aug. I'm not even close to my ideal wt. Am getting discouraged. Oh...I swim one hour a day at my local gym. I take the daily water aerobic class and move lots.
186.8 lb Lost so far: 1.2 lb.    Still to go: 54.8 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
gaining 0.1 lb a week

Hopefullly, your doctor gave you some good ideas on how to keep your allergies under control. I would imagine that the associated inflammation and possible water retention would dramatically slow your weight loss. You were logging all your food several weeks ago, but not since. If you try to get back in the habit, it should enable you to spot any trends and will allow others to give you more targeted advice that might help you. If your food in November is like that of October, try dropping the wine and Scotch. Alcohol isn't a permitted "food" in Induction anyway and it diverts your body from burning primarily fat to burning the alcohol. Some forms of alcohol ARE permitted once you're a couple of weeks into OWL, although it still diverts your body away from fat burning. Good luck! You CAN do this!
