I think the thing I miss the most about Atkins is dessert. I have always had a really bad sweet tooth. So I usually try to keep a few things around that I can use as treats. Yesterday I found Russell Stover sugar free candies - particularly the toffee pieces.

I have a new love in my life.

I had a couple after dinner tonight and I felt completely satisfied. Only 1 carb EACH!!! That's awesome!! Once again, I feel like I can do this. Sometimes that feeling is so far away. But when I find a great treat that I can have without guilt, I really feel good. And successful.

I did have three Doritoes this afternoon - I forgot I was being good again. But I don't feel too guilty. Its such a reflex sometimes - and when it is a "retraining" issue, there should be no guilt - just awareness. Once I was aware, I stopped.

Its been a good day.

OF COURSE YOU CAN DO THIS! Glad you had a good day. Now have another good day tomorrow! Don't think ahead any farther than that. Glad you found something for the sweet tooth. I'm going to have to check those out. Usually, when I can't stand it any more, I raid my hubby's Oreos when I want something sweet.....NOT GOOD! LOL . Good job, Paige! Keep it up! :o)

well, since everyone is confessing here...hee heee...I would like you to know that HONEY is great for sweet tooths! just open up and pour it down the hatchet! :) forget a couple of tablespoons! I was thinking more like a couple of huge gulps! LOL
