TEMPTATION ROOM 101: So offshore we have this horrible schedule - 6AM: breakfast, 9AM: soup break, 12AM: lunch, 3PM: snack time, 6PM: dinner, and an open dessert bar all night long.
First - you meet in the galley at all of these times, hungry or not. Can I sit in the galley and not eat? It's very hard. Second, the food is prepared by someone else, I have no control. Okay, so I have options - but when 7 assorted fresh baked cookies are sitting on their hot pan in front of you... it's VERY HARD to control yourself.
Alas, I'm doing well. I'm merrily crunching away at veggies (except for the smallest oatmeal cookie I could get) So, I indulge a little right??? 60 calories is SO worth it. Let's see if I make it through dinner & dessert unscathed.
