It's my goal to limit my sodium intake to 2300 mg/day. 2300 mg is the RDA for sodium and I know myself as well as other consume double and sometimes triple this amount. So I have removed all of the salt from my house and replaced it with seasonings like garlic and onion powder. I am also giving up processed foods which seem to always be loaded with sodium (i.e. canned soups, and microwaveable dinners). Because salt is a preservative, it seems everything is loaded with it so I realize this is gonna be a huge challenge....but I'm up for it!!
