I am a person who has worked out and been conscious of what I eat for most of my adult life. But like most people, I go on these yo-yo diets instead of focusing on long-term healthy eating and go days, months without working out. The reason: working out can sometimes become repetitive, making it boring at times; and greasy, fatty, salty, and sweetened foods are really delicious (mmmmmmmz)!! But at what cost? I have witnessed in the last few months about 4 people at my job hospitalized due to preventable diseases, that in most cases was a result of bad eating and/or not exercising regularly. Therefore, I am making it my goal to adapt a eating style that is not temporary but long-term. And I am encouraging others around me to do the same.
