Mitzig's Journal, 25 October 2008

Today is a long run day. My knee feels good and I really want to get out and run today. The weather is getting colder by the day so I need to take advantage of the last days of "snow-free" running. My son likes to go in the jogging stroller so it will be a great way for us to spend time playing and get something acomplished!
I have had several co-workers ask how much weight I have lost! The amount of pounds doesn't seem significant to me, but who am I to argue!! I am even more excited to stick with this lifestyle when I know I am getting somewhere!
Thanks to all here on FS! I like reading and getting tips! It helps to have all this support!

How long was your run? Looks like you are doing great and the compliments are so nice to hear too. I went out for a short run on Sat. and it was brutal with the colder weather. I don't think I will be doing that again soon if it says in the 40's!

40's!!! Brrrrrrr.....I am such a baby about the cold! Even though I am in the mountain states I have NEVER gotten use to the cold! I was planning on my 10 miler......Didn't quite make it...It is frustrating, but I will keep at it!! The training program is for 20 weeks. I started early so I still have the time to get it done. Thanks for the comment! I really appreciate it!
