Holy crap yesterday was a calorie fest. If I were to estimate it, I would say about 3500-4000 calories. It wasn't even about an abundance of food either. It was just very rich food (and yes..chocolate three times a day) I AM NOT KIDDING. Celebrating is hard work :P lol Started the morning with 2 homemade crepes filled with sliced bananas and nutella, glass of milk and coffee. Lunch came around, homemmade pizzas and a surprise came by way of Edible Arrangements: Fruit covered with chocolate. I had some coffee to wake me up in the afternoon. Dinner celebration we went to Bappos where I has two roasted quails with salsify (?) in a saba sauce..OMG TO DIE FOR. I did have a slice of crusty bread with it along with a chickpea and mushroom appetizer. They gave us tiny cookies afterwards. Thought we were done after that but my mother-in-law had other ideas. We went to Max Brenners for dessert. I had their smores Sunday (Ate about 1/3rd of it)... Ok, so what can I say I indulged. Slept poorly because of all that food lol and was nauseated this morning. Glad to say my husband and I agree we prefer the low cal/low fat healthy foods I normally prepare :) Went on a 3.5 mile walk today (8936 steps) to walk some of that off. It helped my nausea. Going to have a small bowl of cereal but I am not hungry (even after that walk). None the less, had a great day yesterday and despite how I feel this morning: NO Regrets :) We all should indulge once in a while.
