Got my hair cut last night and I am not loving it! Why can't they ever listen to what I say?!? She's been cutting my hair for some time and really the only change I ever make is the length. I like it shorter in the back, stacked and angled to the front so it is a bit longer around my face. . . nope it is straight all the way around and too short on the sides, I think it makes my face look too round, a girl at work says no, it's cute and I'm nuts. She also went layer happy and cut really short layers in, ugh. It also looks really dark as I haven't highlighted it in awhile and most of what highlights I had are gone. Think I'll get a kit at lunch and highlight it tonight and see if that makes me like it any better.
Little lady got on the bus to PreK by herself today (well grandma was there), she did good. I was worried because before I left she said she wished I could ride the bus with her and that my work was by the school so she could see me while she was at school. Sometimes I really really hate working 30 minutes from home!

Too bad about your hair! I hate when you get home and don't like it because then you just have to live with it until it grows out. That's why I wait to get mine cut until I just can't wait any longer. I hope if you do highlights you like it a little more. Good luck!!

I'm jealous. I don't do anything with my hair other than throw it up in a clip and hope it isn't sticking up too badly. I did chop lil man's hair yesterday. I think yesterday was a bad haircut day. Either that or I just need to accept that lil man is growing up and couldn't keep his adorable lil curls forever. So I'll tell you what I'm telling myself. Hair grows. It will come back. Now if you want to come over and help me hide the lil white hairs that suddenly started popping up you're more than welcome to come over. lol

Highlights made me like the color better, it was getting too dark, but the cut still isn't great. Too many short layers on top, but yep they will grow out and thankfully my hair grows pretty fast lol! What's up with the lil white hairs!?!? Mine pop up just in the very front on one side of my part. I've been strategically coloring those brown, I found a shade that matches my natural color finally, then when it gets too brown I throw highlight over the whole thing. My mom got me started on hair coloring, I started highlighting hers when I was about 14, now I foil various colors into her hair, saves her a ton of money. . .hmm maybe I should have gone to cosmetology school!
I cried the first time I cut my little man's hair and the first time I shaved him bald! Now he gets either a buzzcut, Mohawk or bald. We just cut off his Mohawk and he's decided he's growing it long, we'll see how long that lasts!

CRAP! I should have given lil man a mohawk! Oh well.. there is always next time. Again.. you can come color my hair any time you want. lol
