Okay, in a bad spot right now. Sabotage is going on. My husband is cooking everyday again. Tonight was chicken and biscuits which I ate. Last night was a trip to Dairy Queen with the promise to start over today. I told him tonight I appreciate his effort but that I was starting over tomorrow. I have been on Atkins for 5 months and lost 35 pounds. I was very good about following the pan, but now that I have eaten foods not on the program the last few days I am thinking about eating often. I hope I can start over and not be swayed. Say a prayer for me, please. Margaret

Will do! You can do it!
BTW, I love Ohio's Lake Erie shore ... I used to spend time in Conneaut and then there were the rare trips to Cedar Point as a kid. Fond memories. :)

You can do it! Try some activities to distract you when you get cravings, something you really enjoy. Don't punish yourself, just drink plenty of water and get some fiber. It sounds like maybe your blood sugar levels have been sent all over the place from the carbs and sugar, so just aim keep it maintained at a good level and your appetite and cravings should go back to being comfortable/normal for you. Good luck :)

Hi, I am a nurse in ohio too, and for ummm 23 years. I am not really working now except for one day a week in homecare. I lost 70 lbs in 2002 on the beaverly hills diet but gained 40 back. Then I crept up to 259. Finally IN 2004 I did gastric b y-pass and lost 100 lbs. So I was down to 159. Now I am up to 186. So I have just started atkins and its going is all I can say. Its only been 5 or 6 days and I didn't even weigh in. So .here goes
