Haven't been on much as the last week or so has been crazy at work and we've been sick.
For some reason this morning I received an email from Weight Watchers. I hadn't thought much about it before but am now going to consider joining again. The first time I joined WW, I lost a little over 25 pounds. I'm at a serious stall and obviously am missing some sort of motivation. Maybe I need to go to WW to help me feel motivated again.
We'll see. I'll have to think on this.
This week I plan to organize my schedule and do my darndest to stick to it. Last week was a little too unorganized for me and therefore didn't exercise more than just Monday. PPpphhhfffft! I've been dealing with a lot of emotional stuff lately and it's taking it's toll. Gonna work on handing it over to God.
234.0 lb Lost so far: 14.5 lb.    Still to go: 74.0 lb.    Diet followed poorly.
gaining 0.5 lb a week

I think it's a good idea to think seriously about the WW option... I am actually going to start going back to my meetings, even though I have made lifetime and am not 'required' to go... it seemed to keep me so much more on track when I was there. I know what you mean about organization.... I have not been either! Get yourself organized, hand all your baggage over, and get set for a great week!!

I hear ya, I've thought about it too, but with the insulin resistance, I'd still basically, be eating the same as the beach... restricted to the whole grains, lean meats, NO sugar, etc. =S So although it's inviting for me to do ww again, it boils down to a beachy style for me, pretty much for life. Maybe if I can lose enough and shake the resistance, maybe then I can do WW again! LOL I'm sure you'll do what is best for you! :) I know, I have also been adding my food into the diet calendar here and have be well below my "allotted" points, too. So, I know it's more about the carbs, for me. Chin up chicca, "BF" time!! =D xoxo

Bullyt...WW now has 2 different eating plans, unlike when you last joined. One of them is low carb. I think, for me, it's the need for the meeting. Someplace to go each week to hear new info. and a different way of being held accountable. Doing it on my own just doesn't seem to keep me on track. I don't know. It'll have to be a commitment that I am willing to make so gotta see if my mind will let me go there. LOL The biggest thing is realizing that losing weight isn't going to be easy. It will 'hurt' and it will be 'uncomfortable'. I have to accept that.

Ohhhh... really? Hmmmm.... now I'm interested in ww! lol Too bad I'm not "that" interested in doing meetings and all that.... I'd like to learn more about their low carb plan, though! Hmmm... you'll have to fill me in on what you learned about their low carb eating plan. :)

Yes! I was going to tell you about The Core Plan after reading your journal but I see you already are aware. I have a site that gives the outlines of the plan. It says "With the Weight Watchers Core Plan, you can eat as much of the approved foods as you like as long as you eat only when you are hungry and stop eating when you are satisfied. There is no counting of calories or points involved in this diet." Here's the address if you're interested (just take out the spaces) http: // www.ehow.com /how_ 2092455 _weight-watchers-core-plan. html
