I am having such a hard time sticking to any diet these days! I get frustrated by something at work, or have a very stressful day, or don't feel well, or get mad about something and just give up for the day and eat what I'm craving. Then the next day I figure since I messed up yesterday, I may as well eat whatever I want today, then I'll start over tomorrow. This is not working! It's happening more and more often, and I'm actually gaining weight because of it!

I am feeling the same way, I have intentions of being good the following day but some food item will attack. Not good and it has to change for the both of us!!! I have my husband's birthday tomorrow and we are going to dinner. I am going to try to make the my last hurrah for awhile.

Sometimes it is important to give in to the cravings. If you deprive yourself of something too much it can lead to bingeing. But what is more important is leaving that day in the past and starting the next one new. I've done the exact same thing. "Well I messed up yesterday so I'll start the new diet Monday" and then something happens on Monday. Try to forgive yourself for the day you messes up and move on. It isn't the easiest thing in the world, but you'll feel much better about yourself that you were able to overcome that rough patch and made it through the other side.
