9 pounds down the first week. I don't really believe it. I'm going to get a new scale soon. I also think it's water weight. I adjusted my RDI to 1800 calories for this week (Down from 1900). Looks like a lot of rain this week which is a shame because I wanted to do some water exercises in the pool. I found my pedometer this morning and the battery is dead. I can't see a place to change it so I'll get a new one when I'm out today.

Congrats on the 9 lbs! Awesome! You're doing great!! I usually lose pretty well on my first week, too. Yes, it might be water, but I think it's actual weight loss, too. I lost 6.6 lbs my first week. I had to buy a new scale before I could start this time. Yes, I've done this all before. I lost 80 lbs about 7 years ago and gained it all back. Last year I lost 50 lbs and gained it back, too. I'm tired of gaining it back. This time I'm determined not to. I deserve better than this yoyo I'm on. We all do!! And we can do it. We just can't give up.
