BEING KIND cures most arguments!
BEING PATIENT solves most problems!
When I would be less than patient as a child, my grandmother would remind me to consider how PATIENT God has been with ME!
It always calmed me down!
When we practice patience, it gives any situation we are in the ability to unfold so that things can be seen MORE CLEARLY!
Next time you are faced with something that creates a reaction from you,
take a breath and think about it.
This applies to our weigh-ins and food indulgences, as well!
When having a disappointing weigh-in or reaching for the 'wrong' foods, take a deep breath and be patient! [You may even find that, after reconsidering, you may NOT WANT that 'forbidden food'...] Though NO FOOD IS TRULY 'FORBIDDEN'! That's just setting yourself up for FAILURE!
Practicing patience will certainly make your life MORE PEACEFUL!!
And make your goals more attainable!
Give yourself the gift of TIME [to think, and regain your composure...] YOU DESERVE IT!
