It has been a battle trying yo get into my diet and excersise program. So much stress right now. I'm not eating healthy and sometimes I don't do any exercise. I disappointed in my self. I was really doing well for quite awhile. Now I may eat breakfast, not a healthy one, just because I should start my day off with it. Then throughout the day, I'm munching on things like peanut butter crackers or granola bars. I mean 2-3 packs. When it's dinner time, I pop a frozen dinner or two in the microwave. I NEED so suggestion to help me get back on track and start losing thus excess weight and get moving again with some type of exercise to give me the energy boost needed to achieve my goals and GET HEALTHY!!

About 2-3 weeks ago I stopped exercising completely & eating a lot of junk food at night. But on the 4th of July I was determined to get back on track. Start by going for a walk to ease yourself back into exercising. Maybe you can work out in the morning. When you go to the store park further away from the door to sneak in a little bit of exercise. As far as breakfast if you have the time why don't you try preparing it at night so that way it will be ready & you don't have to make the quick unhealthy choice. My favorite breakfast item is what I call a loaded egg(which is really an omelet just not folded). I use eggs, green peppers, cheese, and ham. Instant oatmeal with the different flavors is good too if you don't have time to make anything just add milk or water & pop it in the microwave. When it comes to your snacks try some almonds, banana chips, or munch on some whole grain cereal. For dinner try some canned or frozen veggies with a baked chicken breast. I try not to fry my meats often. I usually bake, broil, or boil my meats. Always drink water that helps a too. Hopefully these are some good tips that will work for you!

Thank you so VERY much Danielley85. I will definitely do as you suggest. I can manage this! You have made it really simple that I KNOW I can go this! I'll keep you informed on my progress. I love baked chicken and instant oatmeal. As for the exercise, it may be a little challenging for me at this time. I'm suffering with a lot of pain from arthritis. But still I will press forward using my cane. My doctor told me that every pound I am over weight puts extra pressure on my joints. So you see I REALLY NEED to lose this weight. Once I get my weight under control, it will also help my arthritis. I am more determined now to do this because I'm not alone! I have the support I need from buddies like you.

Hello Danielley85. Just checking in as I promised. Since my last post, I have lost seven pounds. I took your advise and changed the way I eat. I'm now eating breakfast and I feel great, not to mention full until my next meal. I have cut out eating junk food as my daily food intake. Also, I now boil some and other I grill on the George Forman. I'm walking as part of my exercise regiment and doing stretching and toning too. Thank you again for All the advice you gave to me. The best to you as you reach your goal.

I'm glad that things are working out for you. If I could only cut the junk food out I will be in good shape. What are you doing to stop eating the junk food? I'll do good @ work but when I get home I dive into the junk.

Glad to hear from you Danielley85. I hear what you are saying about the junk food. You can bet it at home just as you do at work. Maybe this will help you. Because I'm at home and don't work, it was very easy for me to pig out on junk food. But now, although I still do not work, I found a way to counteract the urge to eat the junk food. I don't have them in my house. I buy fruits and veggies. I cut up the veggies and place them in a ziploc sandwich bag and place them in the refrigerator. I get yellow, red and green peppers, the yellow ones are kinda sweet. I found it helps when have the urge to have something crunchy and sweet. I also have a giant box of Cheerios multigrain cereal, sweet and crunchy. And I eat it dry. My mind thinks I'm eating those high fat snack foods. These are just a few. I know you can think of some that will work for you. It's just a matter of substituting bad foods for snacking to more healthier ones. I hope these little tidbits help you. I'm standing with you and rooting you onto VICTORY over the junk food.
