Yesterday went very good. I didn't quite reach my 20 net carbs but I think 17 is pretty close. I wasn't hungry between meals although I did have an afternoon slump, but overall a good day.

That's pretty much what I did yesterday, and with the same results. Afternoon snack was welcome and felt great afterward. Lost sleep last night, but that's the new dog's fault.

Today has been welcomed wth a headache that I can't seem to shake. Just took 2 BCs so hopefully it will go away soon.

Great job on staying on track. For the headaches - my two cents this is common with Atkins - keep some chicken broth nearby and have a half cup to cup when you feel the headache coming on.
Have a great Tuesday!

I agree with Almostretired...but make sure the broth has full sodium (like a chicken bouillon cube). And keep hydrated! The headaches can happen from the water loss and sodium loss when starting Atkins.

Water loss should definitely not be the problem. Luckily, I drink alot of water. Sodium shouldn't considering what I'm eating but come to think of it, it went away immediately when I began eating lunch which include a chicken breast wrapped in bacon. So the sodium could be the issue. I have the broth but didn't think to bring it to work. Will definitely have it tomorrow. Thanks for the suggestions!!

Very welcome! Just wanted to throw in here...when doing Atkins/low carb, please make sure that at LEAST 12-15 grams of your daily net carbs come from the allowed Induction vegetable list (and later when past Induction, from the allowed low carb veggie list). It makes a HUGE difference in healthy eating, fiber content, and overall weight loss!
