I have no excuse for gaining weight the past couple of weeks, but the ones i'm going to use anyway include the fact that i had out of state company for three days, during which time we went to the Puyallup Fair, and i ate all the fair foods i love (onion burger, mini donuts, corn on the cob, strawberry shortcake. .)as well as going out to dinner at a restaurant once (Olive Garden). Then, my daughter came home from Kuwait for R&R, and WE went to the fair, too. . . repeat of eating forbidden foods, and out to dinner twice. Went from my low of 174.6 back up to my current 179.7. Now i have to get my act together and get back on the Wii Fit, my treadmill and the stationery bike and LOSE it again, and more! I may have an occasional set-back, but i'm not going to let that get in the way of eventually reaching my goal weight. If i can quit smoking after years and years and years of doing it, i can cut down on my food, eat healthier and exercise to burn off the calories i DO consume. Today is my youngest son's birthday. The first birthday since he passed away last year on Nov 5th ~ he would have been 49 years old today. I'm trying not to use that as a reason to reach for comfort foods. Instead, i want to make him proud (Happy birthday, Mike ~ i miss you and love you so much!)
179.7 lb Lost so far: 20.3 lb.    Still to go: 24.7 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
