Today went okay. Went on a little road trip to a friend-of-a-friend's beach house on Lake Huron. We went out for lunch, and I was good and chose a grilled chicken breast with salad (dressing on the side). Owner of the beach house was a very gracious hostess and was offering us all kinds of gluten-free treats that she'd made especially for me because she knew I was coming, and I felt really bad turning her down because I'd never actually met her before! I was really touched that she went to so much effort. In the end I had a small brownie. Still have about 100 calories left to munch on so I'm now off to prepare a very light dinner. :)

Good for you. I don't think I would have been that careful. I would have eaten just to be nice, since she went through all that trouble. What you did was so great! I hope someday if I am faced with that kind of decision, I will make the right choice as well. Thanks for sharing!

Believe me, it was sooo hard to say no so many times! I had my mother's voice in the back of my head telling me it was rude to turn her down, but damnit I didn't want to blow my diet over brownies and pasta salad!!
