If there was ever a day to blow my calorie limits sky high into the air like a pop tart coming out of the toaster, I'm glad it was today. I pushed myself-ever so slightly-past my comfort zone on the treadmill. (Also, I discovered that as much as I may want to be, I am NOT a morning exerciser.) I tried running in the morning, I was ready to quit after two minutes, and threw in the towel at 6 minutes, even though last night I ran 7. Then after my evening walk, I got back on the treadmill and lo and behold I ran for 9 minutes without stopping! I don't know where it came from, maybe it was the guilt of massively overeating, or maybe because I was wearing a different pair of shoes, maybe mercury's gone retrograde, I don't know. But had I not looked down and realized how far I'd gone, I could have kept on going. I feel like a machine. Hoping to break the 10 minute mark by the weekend. I haven't run that long non stop since, well, sophomore year of high school. That would have been about 7 years ago now. A kid cut in front of me while we were running in gym class and I fell and fractured my ankle, that was the last time. It's his fault I haven't run this long! *cough*

I should mention, I've been watching Doctor Who in my free time. So if this reads like a big ball of wibbly-wobbly run-ons and half formed sentences that seem to never end, it's The Doctor's fault. Goodnight all!

Lol bow ties are super awesome haha! Wow, I'm totally impressed! I don't think I would enjoy running for a long period of time (I just get bored when I do the same thing over and over like running), but running is great for the body! And seriously. 1400 calories is not 'blowing your calorie limit sky high! Honestly, based on your current weight, and approximate height of like 5'4" (I don't know how tall you are), you should be eating 1900 calories to maintain your weight, so you really shouldn't drop below 1300-1400 calories a day :) Either way, keep up the running! Hearing your success makes me want to work out too!

I don't know why, but it won't let me post the link. Just google "recommended caloric intake" and it should be the link labeled 'Calorie Calculator - Daily Caloric needs'. According to that website, 1540 cal a day is 'extreme fat loss' and 1900 is 'fat loss'. Sorry for spamming your journal!

I had smores last night that I haven't added in yet. Lol. Like 3 of them. For dinner. Oops. I shoot for 1200 daily, but really I'll take anything between 1000 and 1400. I'll have to check out that site when I get home, on my phone right now. Thanks Hokie :) Spam away, I don't mind. Lol

Smores are waaay too tasty for our own good lol! But, we all slip up and eat more than we're used to! Let's both focus on limiting slip ups and using them to fuel our drive to succeed!

Ah, the problem with calorie calculators, not a one of them match. All the same information(obviously) and these are the answer I got: -1297 -1528 -2012 -1850 I have a sit down job so I eat light during the day, never passing 700 with breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack. Then eat a decent supper around 6 in the evening. Dinner is my big meal since I'm a bit of a night owl. Limiting slip ups, there's something I definitely need work on. Deal!
