Calorie counting is definitely a learning experience. I've been up for a half an hour and already ruined my whole day. Ha. Family made biscuits and gravy for breakfast. I knew the calories would be high. I figured 2 biscuits with gravy would be about 500 calories. Manageable. For anybody that doesn't know, it's closer to 1000 calories. Ouch.

Never. Eating. Them. Again.

...but they were soo good.

I'll have to readjust to 1500 calories today.

Instead of counting caloires have you tried eating a lean protien/with a carb for each meal. I hate counting calories, i am logging what i eat but i am trying the lean protien/carb approach for each meal! Dont beat yourself up. Have a good day.

So, you learned a valuable lesson. If you want to splurge and enjoy the comforts of home, make sure that it's in moderation :) Have one biscuit (or half of one) with gravy, chew slowly and really enjoy it :) Then, have some eggs or egg whites and fruit for some protein and sweetness! RTB is right, don't beat yourself up too bad. If I had a nickel for every time I grossly underestimated the number of calories in something, I wouldn't have to work! But we learn :)
