Ok, I'm doing well so far on the run training. It's only the first week, but I have gotten through 2 straight days of running/walking combos. Tonight my husband and I are taking the bikes to the trail. We plan on riding at least 8 miles. Which isn't that bad on a bike. I have Abby on the back of my bike, and my husband hauls all the stuff we may need along the way. You never know what a 2 1/2 year old will need in a hour or so. LOL. So we are each pulling around 25 to 30 extra pounds. That's fine going down hill, but climbing even a slight up grade is challenging. But it's fun. Last bike ride we came across a 4-point buck still in velvet and a little farther down the trail, there were two fawns still in their spots. Those are the times I wish I could get the camera out fast. I'll have it out tonight when we go. Maybe I'll get a good shot or two. I told my husband that it was lucky for that buck to be only a 4-point this year. Come deer season, he is illegal to shoot in our area. So he's got at least another year to hang out around the trail. You are motivating me to be more active. My weight loss is sort of leveling off right now and I am afraid it is going to start creeping up. By golly! After reading about your level of physical activity, I think I can increase the amount of exercise and jump start things around here. I am glad I checked in with you!
