Registered yesterday for the Edinburgh Marathon!! It is not until 22nd May 2011, so I hope this will give me plenty of time to prepare. Panic!! the most I have ever ran without stopping is 1.5 miles...I do run/walk 10km every day but will need to increase the run bit and decrease the walk bit by a considerable amount.
I decided to register to give me the motivation to train more with a set goal in mind. Never done a 5K,10K or half marathon but have always wanted to complete a marathon.
I am doing the run with a couple of work colleagues, 1 has ran a number of marathons and the other many half marathons.
I will keep recording my progress.......
