my friends threw a birthday party for me and I ate a hot dog. It was really greasy and made my stomach feel really heavy. I also ate some chocolate chip cookies. I can't believe my motivation is gone. I just want to eat normal stuff! I feel like I get it, I don't have to suffer anymore. I'll eat lots of veggies with my meals and cut down on the grains and sugars and fats! I'm trying to hold on for at least another week. I hope I feel more motivated tomorrow! Maybe the weekend just got me down?

Happy Birthday! This lack of motivation happens to us all so DON'T beat yourself up. You have to remember you are learning to eat healthier for your whole life not just to lose weight now. You have it down though with your game plan above. Just try to stay away from the taboo stuff as much as possible. YOU can definitly do this for one more week!!!!!!

The best thing you can do for your body is to NOT eat the white carbs. You can add whole grains, if they aren't a food that you react to. Thinking in terms of "I'll do this until I lose the weight and then go back to eating 'normally'" is not the way to go. That leads to yo-yo dieting which really isn't good for your body. You have to think in terms of lifestyle change. Research all of the plans and then find the one that works best for you FOR LIFE. Even this FF plan has a lifetime eating plan (phase 3). Making a lifestyle change will help you be healthier throughout your life which really is the ultimate goal.

STAY FOCUSED! You can do this... Look back at your bio and remember why you are here! Stay commited to yourself and to feeling better about yourself! Remember how much better you feel to eat those healthy foods! Don't get down on yourself about your weekend.. TODAY IS A NEW DAY! Stay strong and know that we are all here for support!
