My philosophy generally is "If you're not hungry, don't eat". If it's just a day here and there that you have a larger than usual deficit, just leave it there and take the extra weight loss. :)

That's what I used to think too. :) But I don't want to allow it to become an unhealthy habit. It's the same thing today. My only meal left for the day is dinner and I've only consumed 400 calories unless I eat more than what I'm hungry for. Actions turn into habits. Malnourishment is not a habit I'd like to pick up. Know what I mean?

I know this is coming a little late, but if you're looking for something good for you with lots of calories, i would suggest natural peanut butter (maybe on a slice of whole wheat toast with preserves :D), or if you're allergic to nuts, maybe some hummus on whole wheat crackers! I can see Kingkeld's perspective on not eating when you aren't hungry, but you're right in that you don't want to make a habit of not eating. If you stop eating, your metabolism slows down. I'd suggest eating a small handful of almonds or wheat crackers every few hours as a snack. You won't be hungry (or better yet, you will be!) and you'll keep your metabolism burning!
