I hope everyone is having a good day!
I am frustrated. I'm not sure about limiting to 1500 calories. Some news reports state that men should have at least 1800 calories. I was taught in school that 1500 is the recommended daily minimum for a male. 1800 seems too high. I lasted on Runner's World's diet for a year and stayed at 1550.
I was also a cranky butt during that entire year.
Then I started the Abs diet after the 100 pound loss. That worked wonders. I still tried to see my abs... never got there. Then I was fired from the hospital. So I sank into a deep depression.
Then there was the divorce. I was never the same. I am trying to get the numbers to go in another direction. Instead of going up, I want it to have it turn tail and run down the street.
I remember how difficult it was. And now 9 years later. I have to do this. I need to feel in control of my life, and yet I've resigned myself to the fact that I may never run a 5K, let alone anything else.
I want to change, but I don't have the time nor money to go with runnersworld.com and their fitness plan again, because I cannot afford the groceries this time around.
Getting healthy is expensive, and it's hard. I'm trying, but is it hard enough?
