Pedometer arrived via Amazon 2 days ago. Started moving today. Out for 30 minutes at 3mph, pushing a stroller with a 35 lb boy! Again tomorrow, and the next day, and the next. Up to 7886 steps on the pedometer so far today, and it's only lunchtime! :-)

Almost at your 10,000 steps a day. Do you keep it on you so it counts your steps even for housework or trips to the bathroom? I need one of those, I just need to break down and buy it.

I used to have one and it really helps. I need to buy another one also. Great job on the steps keep getting out there walking the weight will keep coming off.

Hey Ladies,
I got over 10000 steps yesterday, and plan to do the same today. Yes, T--I keep it on all day, and put it on my bedside table at bedtime. It resets itself after midnight. I bought my pedometer on amazon, and it was 22.99. It's the Omron HJ-112 Pocket Pedometer. I wanted the most basic of pedometers, but this one measures steps, aerobic steps (60 per minute or more), fat burned, calories burned, mileage, etc. It doesn't hook up to the internet, but it does have a 7-day memory.
