Diabetic Dianne's Journal, 11 April 2013

Well today is a day! I have done better calculating my calories and am very close to achieving my goals of 1200-1700 calories per day. I was forgetting to add the milled flaxseed to my diet. Once you add that in, no wonder I am not hungry..lol I am slowly starting to get the hang of this thing and I have to tell you I am feeling better for it. I know I have only been here for less than a week, but I have been trying to get this diet thing under control now for the last three weeks. I am weighing myself on my scale at work today, because that is the one I weighed myself on last week at this time and will update my weight record after doing so. I also have decided to drink only 8 glasses of water a day because 10 was making me feel very heavy. I have so far done well as I have drunk 4 glasses of water so far and have the whole night at work to go to get a measly 4 glasses in. ( I am a telephone operator and continually take calls all night, so i will drink that and possibly more depending on how dry I get.
My goals today are to drink as much as 8 glasses of water.
Test my blood sugar 3 times today
Eat my RDI .
Abscond from the treats that are currently all around the office right now.
Wish me luck, as I always wish for you!
