I just got a job! It will be working with a biomedical research institute which does research with infectious diseases that mainly affect developing countries such as Malaria, HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Leishmaniasis. I am really excited to be apart of research that has direct humanitarian ends. I start on Monday so am a bit nervous but pretty psyched regardless. The down side, though is I will be giving up my midday trips to the gym, and probably have to pare down the time I spend there. I have been used to spending up to two-two and half hours at a time about three times a week, four if I'm lucky and I will no longer have that time luxury any more. But one of my higer priorities is to join a gym close to where I'll work to ensure that I go the gym regularly and keep working out as a priority. I really want to keep on track with fitness and wieghtloss regardless of job or no.

Other thing for this week, is that I have a friend leaving for grad school soon, and lots of people who want to meet up this week, which means a lot of eating out and coffee shop dates....making staying on track for this week harder...but not impossible...I keep trying to make good choices, and plan my meals before hand... anyway I hope everyone else is having a good week!

aw.. thanks for the comments, yes, my daughter- is such a clown! I don't think you need 2 hours at the gym... i have a busy sched and do 30 min to an hour. I go 4-6 days a week though so just find a routine that works for you. great news on getting the job, sounds intreseting. scary, but interesting!
