Day One of Induction: Again. Gout stole my ability to stay on atkins last year. Started June 18th lost 40lbs. Started bad gout symptoms in November had through Xmas off an on. Got off atkins gained 20 since. Spoke with doctor and removed all pork from diet. Not a single incident of gout since. Returning to atkins minus any pork or shellfish products. Sticking with Chicken and Turkey mainly and some beef once in a great while. Today has been easy so far. The family and I carb loaded last night with pizza and I felt so uck. Im sure induction flu is waiting for me tomorrow. Today's diet so far has been two eggs no yolk, two stips of turkey bacon, old wisconsin turkey bits and sunflower seeds for grazing most of the day. One diet soda and lots of water. Tonight will be ground chicken "burgers" with a slice of provel cheese, a serving of brochilli, and a zero carb no sugar popsicle. Tomorrow is likely to be harder with induction flu begining probably and being St Pattys Day and not being able to do green beer, but it will be fine.
