I have been keeping a weight/pain journal at home. I began eating no wheat in January, and I noticed immediately a reduction in the amount of pain I have, as well as losing weight. Along about February I started doubting that the wheat was actually making me sick (wishful thinking), so I started slowing adding wheat back in. Up until this weekend, when I was in excruciating pain in all my joints and muscles again, and was up almost 4 pounds! So, back I went to eating NO WHEAT, and now, a few days later, my pain levels are way back down, and I've lost the weight. So, I think I know definitively that WHEAT (gluten) is the main culprit causing me joint and muscle pain all over my body, and also causing me to be overweight. I am giving myself a year to lose 24 pounds, and my goal is 2 pounds per month. I need to lose 1.4 more pounds by the end of March to make this month's goal. I believe I can do that.
