Hi new leaf, just wanted to welcome you to fatsecret/medifast. I saw your post and wanted to pass along some information. I would not worry too much about water weight as far as dieting. I have been using both a professional body composition scale at a clinic and have one at home. Through my 100 lbs of weight loss my remainder (X) from body fat + muscle + (X) = total weight over the last year has been 1 - 2.5 lbs from start to finish. I used to use a sauna and think that part of my journey would be to lose water weight but now view differently. I would focus on learning how low carb and in particular medifast diet works.
1. Make sure you don't cheat on in jesting carbs off plan.
2. Drink lots of water it really helps move all forms of waste, metabolically beneficial and (counter intuitively) actually helps get rid of retained water. =) I do have more great things to share if you are ready, just send me a friend request here.
