It's been a while since I weighed in. I'm up a pound but I'm not too disappointed. I changed my diet but I don't feel like moving to the 'your own diet' section so I'll just stay here and stop giving advice about dieting. I'm doing an immense amount of cardio and weight lifting now. We'll see how it all works out at the end of October. I raised my weight loss goal from 125lbs to 135lbs. I know that 135lbs is achievable, 125lbs was wishful thinking. I will be trying to weigh in consistently every 4 days, hoping to lose 1lb every four days.
160.0 lb Lost so far: 8.0 lb.    Still to go: 25.0 lb.    Diet followed poorly.
gaining 0.4 lb a week

Marla, you do what you can do. There's no shame in changing your goal. I hope your "own" diet works for you. I think it's great that you are incorporating exercise to achieve your goal.
