So I wasnt thinkin on Saturday that my cravings were really PMS. I have to try to get better at recognizing and controling that next month. My first symptom of it is always uncontrollable cravings for sugar and salty fatty foods. I was able to get back on track yesterday though and I had a good day.
Sunday was our first "Sunday Sundae". That is, we are only allowing ourselves to indulge in a sweet dessert on Sunday. We had a 1/2 cup of Ben and Jerry's frozen yogurt. In the not so far off past, I used to bake alot on the fly when we had a craving for cookies or some other dessert item. Now we are saving that for just one day a week. The rest of the week its fruit, nuts, and veggies for snacks, with an occasional wasa cream cheese and honey.
Once we get a hang of keeping our calories down, Id like to really hone in on how much carbs we are eating. I think our sugars aren't bad b/c we arent allowing alot of processed foods in our diet anymore.
