I cheated this morning. I woke up.. looked at the calendar and put another checkmark on the calendar for not failing another day and then.. I cheated. Well not technically. I jumped on the scale when I promised myself I would only weigh in weekly to see what 3 days of following the plan had gotten me and I'm so much happier now. Instead of being close to 165 I'm now closer to 160. How close? I have no freakin clue. I forgot already. This is what lack of sleep and coffee does. Although I did find my coffee 4 minutes later in the freezer. Maybe I thought it was too hot? Now if I could just find my slacks I would be alright. I had one pair of clean slacks for today that I put somewhere so they would be easy to grab in the morning. I haven't figured out where that place is yet. Maybe they're in the microwave. Lord only knows at this point. Oh well.. it's my excuse for wearing jeans today.

Last night I found two books on exercising using only your own body. One was in the library so I have that one downloaded on my kindle. Starting today I'm going to try and put together a workout and stick with it at least 5 times a week. I tried crunches last night and I was attacked. Laying on the floor made me an easy target for little man. It was all giggles when he was holding my knees. Then he moved to my belly and pushed on that for a while as he attempted to keep his balance and still stand. When that didn't work he landed on his rump and crawled over to smack my face every time I tried to pull myself up. He was having the greatest time ever! Now I just have to figure out a way to contain him that doesn't piss him off that will allow me to workout 5 days a week. It's either that or I strap him on with the baby carrier and start out with 20 lbs of weight resistance.

Check on-line. There is an exercise program you do with your baby. Some of them involve using baby as a counter weight. And it was fun for all!

I found my cell phone in the freezer once, that was an expensive mistake. It was when my son was about 4 or 5 months old and I was experiencing the lack of sleep like you are now. At least if you are getting some sort of a workout in, even if you have to do it with a baby attacking you. :)
