I went camping this weekend with my sons' (how do I write the plural possessive? two boys, both in the troop) scout troop. I was in charge of the food for the adults so everyone ate nearly fat free all weekend and didn't even realize it.
On Saturday night I made Jambalaya in a dutch oven over the campfire. I would have loved to use andouille sausage but I couldn't find a low fat/calorie one so I used turkey sausage instead. I think it worked out really well.
For dessert I made an angel food cake and then turned it into a trifle with some fat free cool-whip, fat free pudding, strawberries, and bananas. Very yummy!
On the whole I'm happy with a net-zero loss for the weekend. I usually gain a pound or two when I go camping because I cook too much good food.
