Weighed in and lost 5lbs which is not that good considering I have been on the diet for nearly 2 weeks. I want faster results but the food diary is an excellent way of showing me where I am going wrong. Like today - I had a piece of lamb neck fillet and for the first time I weighed it and it was 12oz which is 993 calories. Use by date was today so I ate the whole piece and what I should have done, in hindsight, is cut it in half and had the other cooked half tomorrow cold at lunchtime in a sandwich. Grrr. Well, at least I know how fattening lamb is now. Chicken tomorrow!

Well, 2.5 lbs a week is really good, more than that you start losing lean mass, at first when you begin, it might seems you are losing a lot of weight, but mostly is water, so keep up, you are doing good.

5 pounds is great! You want to lose at a slower rate you will keep the weight off easier. I have noticed with my food diary that i was taking in too many carbs. I really need to see it in front of me in order to stay on track thats what I love about this sight. I'm having a hard time with getting enough exercising in. Keep up the good work
