i hate mornings like this - got on fb (i belong to a bingo group as an administrator), one of our other admins has been going thru so much shit - pardon the language - she miscarried twins earlier this year, her 3 y/o son had heart problems and passed a couple months ago, now we find out this week that she has an agressive form of leukemia. and the 2 treatments they've tried so far almost killed her - now she has pneumonia, and if they can't find a treatment that works (which they're not optimistic about), she'll probably join her kids...I love being on FB, have met a lot of wonderful people, some, like Kari, i've come to love as family...the part i hate, is the fact that many of them are on other continents, like Australia, and all I can do is sit here at this damn keyboard and type whatever lame shit pops into my head to try and tell her how i feel, and how much i care about her, not even knowing if she's able to read what I put...
I went to Zumba at Curves this morning to try and work out some of this frustration...it helped some, but I think I'm just going to have to get out of the house later...go to a coffee shop, or do some retail therapy - at least window shopping...to try and keep my mind off my friend. Not that I think it'll work, but I've got to try something - sitting around here, even tho I have things I can do, just isn't cutting the mustard.
On the up side, the cortizone shot seems to be helping a little, dr told me to give it 3 weeks for full effect, but my shoulder didn't wake me up in the middle of the night hurting, like it has been - we'll see!
