I don't understand it - is my scale broken? Last week, I dropped weight like water. This week, I've put on a kilo? I am still going, I am just so confused by the mixed messages my body sends sometimes.

I looked at your diet and exercise and would wager that you lost a lot of water. Your cardio exercise looks good so you might be hitting a plateau. Time to add some weight training! Look for resistance exercises like bands, pilates, swimming... That muscle will force your body to burn calories differently than cardio because it increases your calorie burning ALL DAY!
Also, I noticed that your diet is still very high carb. Carbohydrates like bread, potatoes, rice, popcorn and pasta, are almost identical at a chemical level as cake with frosting and candybars (polysaccharides) and it will stick to your backside just as effectively if not burned. Same with fruit (monosaccharides). Its also in your yogurt and dressings. Scary how they creep in... The things that balance sugars are Fiber and Protein. I would suggesting adding more of both to your diet, esp. if you start weight/resistance training.
And don't worry so much about the scale, really. Hormones, stress, salts, and sometimes even the day of the week are reasons to hold a couple extra pounds. You've already lost a lot of weight so now you're getting into the stubborn stuff. Your body is also getting more used to the body's exercise cycles: first you drop weight/water/salts, then you build muscle (often seeing increased weight) and finally dropping the unused toxic bulk (which is when you can see "results") before starting over. Its a different time frame for everyone, mine takes about 6 weeks. There will always be drops in momentum when making lasting change. :-)

Kittyglitter - thank you so much for the advice. =) I just noticed that I'd gotten a comment, and am excited for the support. Yay. You just made my day! And, I was going to skip the gym tonight - but being complimented on exercising has changed my mind. =)
