I'm pretty much failing at this diet thing.
I really need some help.
How can I keep on track, and get fit before school starts in September? I don't want to be fat the rest of my life!

I found that using the tools here to count calories and track activities is very helpful. It's pretty simple. If calories burned are more than calories consumed, you will lose weight. From your diet page, there is a recommended daily intake calculator, that will tell how many calories you need to meet to lose weight. Also, there is a "Calorie Counter" app, if you have an android phone. Give it a try. I have benn able to lose any weight for ten years, but the tools they have here really work. I've lost 12 lbs since mid-May, so I know it will work.

For you height 60lbs would make you extremely underweight you would have a BMI of 11 to achieve a healthy weight you should be aiming between 105 - 130lbs. you can totally do it lots of fresh fruit and veg, lean protein and complex carbs, keep an eye on calories dont try and eat too low in order to lose more weight it wont work and you will probably gain eat a min of 1000 cals a day depending on how much exercise you do, exercise is a great way to lose faster anything from walking more, to swimming to going to a gym and kicking arse on an eliptical will help. everyone here is willing to help and advise good luck on your journey :)

I'm hoping you meant that your goal was to lose 60 lbs and not be 60 lbs! If so, good luck. If not...I don't know what to say to that.
