Catacam's Journal, 15 June 2010

Day two of my journey begins today! I had a great day yesterday and felt engergized to make changes and am greatful for this website to help with motivation and tracking (am also hoping to make some new friends)!! Last night was a crazy busy night and really opened my eyes to needing to make time for myself. I picked up Tori, got home and made dinner (yummy chicken stirfry), gave Tori a bath, and cleaned the kitchen, all while running! My plan was to work out a bit on the Wii then meet some friends for a 5 mile walk. Well I got a bit of Wii in and hustled over to my girlfriends house only to discover she wasn't home. I was a bit disappointed and went back home and walked on the treadmill, something I loathe... But at least I got it done. I also joined the Krunches challenge and was able to do 25 sit ups. I know that isn't alot, but these were 25 REAL sit ups, so I am proud of that! Hoping I can get to 30 today!! I am feeling pretty hungry this morning and it doesn't help that I am not a morning eater at all. I also jumped on the Wii to weigh myself and it said I was down 1.5 lbs. I know that can't be right so I am not going to record it in my history, but I will admit, it made me feel good!! So today is a new day and I haven't lost any motivation at all!! Lets home that continues and that I am not on this website all day again today and can actually get some work done!!

I wasn't a morning eater either, but once you get into that habit... now I'm hungry in the mornings :) Glad you found this site, it's been so helpful to me, especially tracking my food, which I did not want to do, and now can't wait to enter it to see where I am. Can add me as a buddy if you like, can never have enough friends!

good for you on the treadmill & crunches! Do you have Wii Fit? What do you think about it? I have a Wii and am thinking about buying the Fit. I have a treadmill in the basement but it kills me to have to go down there and use it, how lazy can I possible be right? Last Saturday I participated in a 5k so my shins are still recovering. I doubt my exercise will be very exciting for this week, unless horse back riding counts?! I've done well on my food intake today, minus the pringles but at least I stayed to just one serving!

Thanks Kristen and I love love my wii fit! The wii fit plus is great too! I don't think it is as hard of a workout as some would like/need, but because I am not a gym buff, it is great, and a lot of fun!! Good for you on the 5k!! There is no way I could do that. I would love to run, but I have never been a runner and it kills me when I try! Maybe I should set a challenge for myself!! PS, I've been horse back riding and it is for sure a work out!! ;) Off to put the little one to bed and get my wii time in!!
