The weight lifting I'm doing is definitely adding weight to my body. I can see the growth in my muscles, although my overall body feels lighter. loosing inches in my waist line & had to purchase smaller pants for work. I'm not concerned if I don't make it to 190 by the middle of November. I'm going to continue with the weight training 3 days a week & cardio 2 times. The weekends are for surfing! After the year ends I'll get into a less weights & more cardio. I've been as low as 195 recently but I feel much better with the added muscle weight. More muscle means more calories burned a day. This is a lifetime commitment, not a flash in the pan diet. I got lazy the past 7 years and it's time to get back to being healthy. I feel as good as I ever have, & that was my goal on my 50th birthday, almost 3 weeks from now.
203.0 lb Lost so far: 30.0 lb.    Still to go: 13.0 lb.    Diet followed 100%.

I LOVE weight training, you are so right about how it really defines the body. At one point I had lost 13 inches just from weight training, then I started aerobics and put 20 lbs on - it wasn't fat. It just amazed me how much smaller I was, but weighed a whole lot more. As soon as my SI joint isn't acting up, I plan on getting back to the weight training. Good luck on your goal - you seem to have the determination and I bet you will get there.
