Yesterday was encouraging for me. (Though time management still needs LOTS of work.) I was able to walk to Eliana's appt and back. I tried to get an idea from Google maps of how far the walk was, though it wouldn't let me trace the route I took, so I have a rough estimate only. Still learning that I walked about 6.5 mi yesterday in 2 hours makes me feel kinda like Wonder Woman. I'm trying to track my caloric intake. Previous attempts have failed due to inconsistency and discouragement from seeing how consistently I'd overeat. (Why is it that even 2000 calories seems like barely anything when I add up my usual food consumption, but all the health advise I've gotten tells me that I need to keep my intake closer to 1500 calories to reach my goal? :( ) Well new day, new 'diet', let's see how this goes. Getting more active makes this seem more achievable. I don't feel as much that I have to spend the day telling myself, you have to limit your meals to about 450 or so calories in order to lose weight and that food you're yearning for is really just too much empty calories right now.
