was away all weekend and did reasonably well and gained .9 lbs. growing very disheartened. maybe this diet isn't for me. i do take medications and vitamins. maybe they are affecting my weight loss?

Don't be discouraged :/ Your loss will begin once you figure out the issue. We're here to help! :) I was looking at your diet calendar and it looks like you need to eat more carbs. Your net carb intake is very, very low. The problem could be that you're not eating enough carbs. Try to stay as close to 20 net carbs as you can. It looks like all your other counts are good, so up those carbs and I think you will see a change :) Another problem with eating so few carbs is that you'll be hungry. If you're hungry and think you can't eat any more carbs than what you are, you might give in to cravings and eat something you shouldn't, or you'll get discouraged and stop trying altogether. If you need any ideas for meal recipes, let me know. I have several really good ones that I would be happy to share with you :)
