Hi everyone, not doing well, just can't get it together. I'm ashamed I haven't even weighted in. I bought a horse after not owning one for 10 yrs and promised myself I was going to lose weight so I wouldn't be to heavy on him and I still haven't done that. I stopped excising too. I found a article in a mag. about when you want to eat to say HALT Hunger, Anger,Loniness,Tired and I try that. It works if only I do it everytime I want to over eat, especially at night. So everyone I need a swift kick in the pants for not staying on this program.

Hi Appy, you seem to be a bit in despair, but what exactly is the problem ? "Not getting it togehter" can mean so many things. Don´t you understand the way of eating (dieting is really not the word to use, GI eating is rather a healthy life style than a diet) or do you use food to "solve" other issues ? I am a evening/night eater myself (and a bit of a night owl) and this is my favorite late night snack when I just cannot go without: A small pot of unflavoured yoghurt, 1/2 dl of all bran flakes or almond flakes, blueberries (I buy frozen ones) and some fresh or frozen strawberries plus a big cup of fruit flavoured black tea. It´s an all in one ! Some fat and protein, sweet berries (low GI) and tea and just a few carbs with moderate GI. Moselle
