I'm back feeling like a brand new person. The stress of the last 2 years is gone and now I can move on with my life. I have to say without a doubt it is a WONDERFUL feeling. NO more trips to NY divorce court to fight over stuff, to see my soon to be ex, the whole shooting match. It is over! What a awesome feeling. I did not get everything I wanted but then again, I did not expect too, that is what bargining is all about, but I did get the main things I wanted and most of all the big thing---- to get the whole thing OVER! The whole thing was not pretty in the least but in the long run hubby saw things in a different light when threatened with some not so nice things. Funny how that works.
Now MY life can begin. Wow, my life. What to do? Hard to think about right now. Been so consumed with just getting my life back. I think for now I will just sit back and enjoy the moment and play it day by day. No big plans until I get the final papers saying I am single again. My mom went with me and when my stepdad came to pick her up he was singing the Helen Reddy song " I am Woman" , I was in stitches, but in a very good way I now feel that way now. I feel strong again, I set out to get something done and I did it, not just with the divorce but with the weight loss too. I still have 19 lbs to go but that is a far cry from where I started. I am nearing the finish line and feel more enpowered than ever to get there. Stress is such a hugh factor is our daily lifes, wonder how I am going to live without so much in mine. LOL. I have not stopped smiling for 2 days. That is a great start. Now lets see what this hugh reduction is stress does for my over all health. Maybe now I can get off my BP meds and finally quit smoking for good because finally IT IS ALL ABOUT ME!
